Did The Fast One 40km this morning with Tyler. Nothing beats spending time with them, regardless of the activity. This was his last day before becoming a teenager tomorrow!!

I'm looking for a decent 16 inch for my 'balance bike proficient' 5 year old. 

I would prefer a bmx but can't seem to find any. At least not online.

I really like this one but it looks pricey. I'm not sure who in Cape Town would stock it either. 

Or even what they go for.

Then there's this one which isn't too bad. I don't like the quill stem but its well priced.

Unfortunately CWC has no stock.

But I'm reluctant and I'm not sure why. Anyone's kid on one of these? 

 

Its her birthday today. In a perfect world I would love to get one by the end of today.

But if there's something worth waiting for I would.

Should I just get the Avalanche?

Yes, you're thinking too much into it. 

 

Looks like it has good geo, and it looks EXACTLY the same as the MUNA. I'd posit that it's a catalogue frame but made out of alu instead of steel.

 

It's got v-brakes, which IMO is a MUST. Far better for weak hands. Just get better brake levers from that bike shop in Kuils River for like R100... Stephen Wiggill knows the name of it. 

 

Plus it's pink.

im surprised u recognized it. It is a nice track. But price was a bit steep. One thing i can say its not easy going uphill with 20kg extra
