  1. Try knocking out the old bearings smearing a thin layer of grese or copperslip and pressing the bearings back. Maybe oil the nipples with a light oil and the spoke heads (just a thought) could get a bit dusty though, start at one point and eliminate as you go along

Awesomeness personified but isn't titanium brittle material and it works on a flex principle?? I'm no metalurgist so some one help me here still if I could find one in my size I would ride it.

  14. For the first time in months I am at a loss for words
  15. looks like a splinter from the track itself
  16. I never want that to hapen to me reminds me of these photos which appeared on here a few months ago.
  17. I don't personally own a 29er but the trend is a shorter stem most of the factory bikes from Scott com out with short (80mm on some) stems I think a shorter stem may well sharpen up the handling
  18. To pretty
  19. Aeriozine are for light riders those cranks tend to flex. Had one and to test and didnt like it at all, they look great but performance isn't all that wonderful. Settled on LX crank ( Blades are easier (Cheaper) to replace but agree with XT being great quality
  20. I am inclined to agree with Edam but as stated more pictures better angles and a ruler as Capricorn pointed out
  21. Awesome news
  22. Well I have never ridden, worked on or seen Sun Ringles Black flag wheels I can however say I have never heard of sun ringle given any major issues I had a ringle hub on my DH bike for years and the dirty flea hubs last for ages, in my opinion can't go wrong with ringle. but also just check for spare availibilty especially as it sounds like these wheels dont use normal spokes
  23. I agree with most of the posts it looks like impact damage. I added coloured shapes to the photo to highlight my view The red indicates odd lines in the frame one is diagnally across from top left acroos to bottom left where the line ends at the crackis looks like something straight pressed or impacted it there. The yellow circles show the uniformity of what I suspect is the factory pressed dent it looks the same top and bottom and yet in the middle (red) there are those odd lines and the crack. In my view better pics more angles and we could clarify what the problem is sometimes light and shadows makes pics look funny adding lines where there arent any. Also believe it or not some frames, pedals and wheels have weight limit for a reason look at titanium axled pedals most are limited to aout 85 KG as further pointed out TI is a brittle material. Just what I think
  24. If I was the title sponsor I would be beyond pissed off, Cell C took a knock here people who don't understand that CSA are the official organisers only see Cell C. Internationally we as a cycling country look stupid eish world class event with not even 3rd world organisation, Metro cops disappeared, taxis what ever there are no and I mean no excuses for such a #$%^ up
  25. I believe the title sponsour Cell C is not in a very good mood today
