He is a bit further ahead now but still has that last climb! Much respect to the heavier guys (I used to be one myself) that needs to haul their bodies and gear up steep climbs. And the back trackers normally have much more things on them/their bike than the fast guys. Comparing Drikus to Jannie here, there must be somewhere around 50kg difference here!

0-time finisher; Based on Mike's blog from 5 years ago I would reiterate and say that there is advantages to drafting. Just because the benefits of drafting "off-road" does not make sense to person X or Y doesn't mean others aren't using said benefits... Sure it is a moerse long distance and if anything happens they wont wait for each other. But if they draft a decent distance, it should stand in their favour come hour 50.
