  1. It certainly appears so. Integrity is a rare commodity
  2. Can we fix the thread title to 947 please
  3. So is it overpriced or oversubscribed? It can't be both ????
  4. It's brandy valley
  5. And? Did you love it? The Nissan Trailseeker at Legends MX 40km was my 1st ever mountain bike race back in 2017. I was broken and nearly dead last over the line Iv done it again a couple of times since just to see how far iv come
  6. Amen! It doesn't have to make sense, it only needs to make you happy
  7. It was a theory that did the rounds during lockdown and extended times riding indoors. It made enough sense for me to adapt, but to be honest, I'm not sure if it's a must ????
  8. It will eliminate the process of rotating the front wheel to ensure even spoke fatigue
  9. Have you played with the idea of not having a front wheel at all? I'd like a stand to replace my front wheel in my indoor bike.
  10. I guess that if you don't have a coach then Sufferfest would be the better option for the serious cyclist in need of personalized workouts. Fortunately, Zwift pulls through my custom workouts from TrainingPeaks. The real world feel of Rouvy and the price point is alluring, but not enough to sway my vote away from Zwift. Zwift's races, group rides and the unrivaled community engagement makes it my top choice.
  11. But with a mullet build you have a 10-50t cassette, what more do you need?
  12. I participated in The Race 2020 and 2021, both events had ebike categories. The only time I ever saw an ebike was on day 2 of the 2020 event after they called a neutral day after all the rain. Greg Minnaar and his boys from the Santa Cruz Syndicate were playing on pretty sweet Hecklers. I'd be amazed if any ebikes interfered in the race to the point that someone felt the need to complain about it
  13. Like I said, not everyone will see the value, but that doesn't mean that it's not there. You're obviously not part of their target audience, no need to cry about it.
  14. Those perfectly manicured trails alone make it worth it to me. Not everyone will see the value, as for me, I rate its a bargain!
  15. Speculation and what ifs... Yes I'd buy a grey import How much would I pay? Depends on the brand, and it has to be substantially cheaper than any local options with full warranty and support
  16. I can only speak for myself here, but my mark up % remains the same. Cost is up 50% and demand up 200%
  17. Done that, prefer flying. Driving there is fun, but the drive home not so much
  18. I'm hoping it geëts pushed out again as BA and Kulula flights are grounded till 1 September.
  19. I'm a massive fan of Ash, and she is definitely my favorite for top SA Female Road Cyclist. As far as top SA Cyclist, it's Greg, no question. Bring me your cyclists and tell me how many world titles in their trophy cabinet
  20. I'm probably wrong, but I've rated sellers accordingly when they back out of a deal that's been concluded in principle. My point of view is that it should be allowed, but I see your point.
  21. *Leech would be 100% correct ????
  22. Absolutely agree ???? But 1kg on a bike makes little difference to a 90kg adult, but if you only weigh 20kg with a 60w FTP then 1kg is HUGE!
  23. When you have a deal, in principle, you can definitely review the seller accordingly if they back out of the transaction. Once a price has been agreed, method of payment and date and time of collecting then the deal has technically been concluded.
  24. When in doubt, go for the lightest bike, especially for kids.
