Its a shame really....if they staffed the shops with people who had an interest in cycling and knew the difference between a spanner and a hammer then I think they would be great shops... They seem to have a lot of stock on bikes as well as consumables.

Correct me if I am wrong but doesnt this venue have cars/bikes stolen pretty often? Im sure I saw something a while back (like a couple of weeks ago) about a couple of cars going missing there as well? Or was that somewhere else? Were you parked outside the venue?

And what a lovely warm day it turned out to be...I cycled at 11am and it was great to only have shorts and a T shirt on after a week of freezing and rain!

A few years back I satarted messing around with Arduinos linked to my router/wifi and using relays to turn things on and off etc but life took over and the project collected dust...These Sonof things seem like a good buy though at the price?

Have you used these Sonoff products? Are they any good for this sort of a set up? Or being able to activate lights/stereo etc when you are not home?

Well done mate!...Im almost 30 years here in the valley and there is NO WAY I would have done this! On Saturday after my early morning ride my feet were so cold when I had a bath I thought my bloody toes were going to explode or something! Makes you appreciate those nice summer afternoon rides so much more...

Lol...well done and thanks for the temp check...I live about 1km from where you started and I really gave some thought to just going back to bed...And I had 2 x pairs of long fingered gloves on....(and 3 shirts, track pants...jacket....buffs.....)

My ride at lunctime.... So frustrating to see this on a ride..Must have been dumped last night.....And its right where a race goes by this weekend... What a scruffy and careless town I live in...(The official dump is about 6km from here....) (99% sure I know who it was and did go and speak to them...Hopefully its gone by tomorrow....but still....Filthy Savages!)
