  1. Nice warm sunset before the cold front gets to us this weekend...
  2. Looks like the dirt roadies are knocking about and someone did some multitasking on their ride...(pink razor if you cant make it out...)
  3. Lets hope so but as we all know humans always take precedence over animals...
  4. Sadly, as always in life, the poor bird probably will end up being shot anyway becasue humans are in his area... Its how we are....We always come first regardless.....
  5. I know its a bit of a hassle if you are not a cooking kind of person but I fry those sausages up at home with some red onion, garlic and mushrooms (or whatever you fancy) and then add some coconut cream for the sauce...chuck it into some tin foil and its good to chuck on the braai....adds some flavour to those sausages....And stops the braai-master from whining too much.....
  6. Aye, that they do.
  7. Cadence World - Krugersdorp Nice owner, doesnt talk down to you because you own a bike under R100k ... Helped me out a couple of times without having to book the bike in.
  8. Buying is becoming a bit of a pain lately...People dont come back to you...people dont send you specs or a few decent photos..
  9. Winter closing in...
  10. Lol..wasnt even aware of that....Google confirms it is indeed an emoji for a part of the male anatomy....

    Who remembers?

Who remembers? The good old days...When your car was multipurpose...
  13. Lol...and those shirts....
  14. Its to be hoped you like coffee.....!
  15. What makes me laugh with some of these race fees is the amount of work that gets done on the trail... ie just about none. We have several races in this area...year after year....same organisers...same boring routes...The trails/routes never get any attention (great trail up at a local hotel that is now pretty much going to ruin, hotel not bothered either after paying around R5k a kilometre! Lol) and it seems the race organiusers do as little as possible for the best possible return...
  16. 2 KILLED IN SAAF MUSEUM PLANE CRASH AT SWARTKOP AIR FORCE BASEIt's understood that the single-engine aircraft, known as a Patchen Explorer, was approaching the runway when it crashed and burst into flames. https://ewn.co.za/2021/03/17/2-killed-in-saaf-plane-crash-at-swartkop-air-force-base
  17. Cape Town lights....Everything costs more there isnt it?
  18. Lol..where ISN'T there a squatter camp these days....
  19. Took a late afternoon ride yesterday....I opted to go a way I havent been since early Jan...Pretty overgrown....... I also forgot all about this time of year and my favourite weed....the BlackJack...|
  20. I may have the same one....had it for about 11 or 12 years now...I wanted to use it the other day and now neither battery really holds charge for more than an hour or so.... It looks like the standard is now 18v so I think I will just get a new one sometime rather than try and find batteries... Zero problems with it though in all these years...
  21. To be honest I never seem to find decent well priced tools at pawn shops....they are either about R10 shy of just buying new or so badly damaged they are just not worth buying anway... My dad found a nice Fluke multimeter years ago, previous boss got his Mitutoyo vernier for a steal and I have other mates who found good bargains but I seem to just end up finding expensive rubbish...

    .

Ive seen that car following guys up the Krugersdorp Hospital hill (Sterkfontein)....most guys in their cars will try their luck and gap it round the riders as soon as possible...bit sketchy..... Ive also seen a guy on a motorbike following the riders...that seems a better idea?
  23. Perfectly acceptable on the West Rand here... Ou De Klippies.....
  24. So far...touchy wood...I have had no issues using it as it is (considering it has no holding tank) on new and used tubeless tyres..
  25. Years ago when petrol wasnt a crazy price and I could still afford a 4x4, I bought a twin headed portable compressor for reinflating the tyres after a day of off roading and vehicle buggering up...Even going as far as to add two socket outlets to the Sani for ease of use... Anyway....I probably used that thing about 5 times for its intended use....No longer is the Sani with me but I do still have the compressor and now its used to clean computers, keyboards and inflate my bicycle tyres...! Now to find another use for this hi-lift jack that was also bought with some lofty ideas......
