Easton XC Ones Ive had them on my bike since Jan and thay are amazing! Very well priced and pretty light weight. Only thing is they are not tubless, but thats easy to overcome.

What gets to me is that you subscribe for a year, which in this case is 8 issues i think. But then if enter the argus, your R210 odd entry fee includes the march copy of the magazine, which is sent to you along with your entry details. so you would think that maybe because you are a subscriber that you would get 2 issues, one with the race entry and one as part of your normal subscription, but no, they obviouslly check the subscriber data base, and you only recieve one issue. but do they extend your subscription for an extra month? nope. when i had a lady who called me to renew my subscription i explained this to her, and she could not answer my question. eventually they got back to me telling me they would extend my subscription by a month, so come august i will know if they did or not. I just think this is wrong, and that they make a fortune off us by not sending us the issues we pay for.

I use those Anatomic neoprene booties (with that hideous yellow logo on the side) and they are great. Never had a problem with comfort or weight!

Speaking of Polars service, i have a quick question? My speed sensor died in the last 10km of stage 3 of the Panorama tour, a few weeks back, and i need to get it working again. i seem to remember that you can change the battery yourself (i think i saw that in the users manual once, before i lost it!) but i have no idea how to? So how hard is it to change, and what tools are required, or would it just be best to send it off to IHF and get them to sort it for me?

Seeding info from the Final Update email : Seeding You will receive a provisional seeding for Stage One based on last year's results and results captured in your entry forms. Riders are divided into zones of 50 teams each day. Bear in mind that your start zone after Stage One is dependent on your cumulative times and position in the General Classification. There is a neutral zone each day (except for the time trial) of about 3km. The provisional seedings will be published on the website on the 23rd April. Applications for changes must be made in writing with a motivation to race-office@panoramatour.co.za The time trial is run in reverse order with the slowest teams first. Teams depart at 30 second intervals. Details of the time trial procedures will be communicated to you at the race briefing the night before.

yeah i drove that route from Nelspruit to Barberton over and down Hilltop last thurday and its in a really bad way! multiple stop and go roadworks, the road is a real mess. Hope they manage to sort it out in the next 3 months!!
