  1. Ok, here's an update:- I have done the following:- -cleaned the chain (its about 300km old) -regreased headset -removed all bolts on the stem and regreased them and torqued them to correct specs -removed pedals and greased threads (that tighten into the crank arms) went for a ride on Saturday morning and all that's left of the constant clicking is a click when I "dance on the pedals"- left pedal down, right pedal up. So I do the following:- -removed spindels (?) of pedals- regreased them -removed BB cups-discovered left bearing a bit rough- replaced that- regreased -removed seatpost, cleaned that and retorqued and greased all bolts of the seatclamp went for a ride Sunday, no change, so I do the following:- -sprayed all the nipples on the rear wheel with silicon spray -tightened sqewer on rear wheel -spray silicon on front and rear derailer working areas I am hoping that this evening there would be no clicking sound otherwise I just do not know what it can be, unless the frame has a crack somewhere- inspected it but can't see anything!! So what's left?

  6. Leaving Mugg & Bean in Stellies one day (in front of about 50 spectators) I clipped in on the pavement to roll down to the road and the next minute this lady comes from behind and knocks me off balance. In a split second I decided that I was not going down alone, so I leaned on this lady with my entire weight and stayed upright just long enough to unclip again Also leaving the Mugg & Bean (Jamestown) our group was approaching the traffic circle when a car came from our right- the car turned left but the dude in front of me thought it was going straight so he stopped just as I was preparring to take off again. So a touch of wheels and I landed on the lavender bushes next to the road which were about 45-60 cm high The lady cyclist behind me says it is the fastest that she has ever seen a guy get up after a fall Needless to say I had to ride home at the back of the bunch as I was smelling like lavender
  7. I've been riding a carbon Spez frame for the past 3 and a half years and weigh 94kg's when I'm good and about 100kg's when I am bad - no problems. Doubt it if its true, but I don't think anyone keeps their bikes for 5 years anymore, I am already itching for a new one
