  1. The evil eye just didn't fit me properly kept getting headaches and a pain behind me left ear, I think it was a bit too tight and swapped it out for a pair of radars and been using them ever since the lenses you have to be extra carefull with they scratch easily
  2. Contact conrad boulle from first freight he will be cheaper I use him whenever I need to courier any items
  3. I know getting shimano products direct from Japan is a problem, they will not supply you even if you bought a container and will direct you to the agent in your country. We tried going via other countries in the east but when you work out landed cost vs what we could get it local the price diff wasnt much and not worth the effort. They are however setting up a new plant in the philippines so hopefully can explore that avenue sometime The idea is go direct to the factory if you looking to score anyone can buy direct from a retailer that side, unless you doing something diff the landed cost wouldnt be that much different from SA
  4. last week there were 2 guys in tokai forest with epic numbers attached to the bike..lol for splashing that amount of money on entry fee it has to stay on for life
  5. Along with a few other issues I had the same problem with my 500, did some googling and stumbled across this webpage, replaced the belt and my HR problem was sorted. http://www.dcrainmaker.com/2010/08/solution-to-heart-rate-dropoutsspikes.html Also update your software on the unit to make sure all the bugs are out, most likely its a fault on the belt and not the sender or the reciever unit.

    Argus 2014

Started in T, bunch was split from the word go but managed to stick with until Jubilee Square then a guy dropped his half frozen water bottle on his top tube it jumped my way and booof I ended up wiping out doing got some bruises and road rash both on myself and my bike but i'll be fine. After that it took me some time to get going again my calf pulled stiff as I got up to get out of the way, nevertheless completed in 3:51 riding mostly alone. I must say the small bunches worked well off the start, HOWEVER the bunch riding skills of many can do with great improvement as guys overtook on the left, slow riders were cycling to the extreme right of the road not giving a dam about faster riders passing. Smits got so chaotic and jammed pack everyone just decided to cruise and occupy the entire road leaving no space for the faster bunches to come through.
  25. I remember this like it was yesterday, even brought a tear to my eye just thinking about the good old days.. Back then it was alot less politics too. I bought "Mrs colonel" bike from "Mr Colonel" a raliegh RC8000..lol, then sold it to "Ghisallio" which was sold to another hubber (cant remember his name) only for me to hunt him down and buy it back again. is "Moonkyspoon" still on the forum ..
