  1. Exactly what TWT confirmed, they've even had customers calling them querying this. imagine if people put as much initiative and energy into doing something positive. Effing tjops!!! ...
  2. Well that's just it. Momsen is only brought in and sold on by Momsen/TWT. I called them and confirmed this. It's a copy and paste straight from the Momsen site into this false one, so it's more than likely purely to get your cash. NO bike.
  3. He's a columnist, and a column is just that, to touch on valid points. Lets hope some of the investigative journalists do pick up with this column and run with it. They have the platform to work from at least.
  4. Saw this alert from Two Wheels Trading and Momsen Bikes. On their Facebook page. Regarding what is allegedly a fraudulent website operating under the guise of selling Momsen bikes, A copy and paste from the Momsen site, using their information and business address etc... but with a different contact phone number. "ALERT: Momsen Bikes and Two Wheels Trading are saddened to report that their brands have suffered an UNAUTHORISED COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT. We have instituted legal proceedings against Wozon Wheels Trading (http://wozaonlinebikes.wozaonline.co.za/) and recommend that no customer or future customer please trade with this company. For any further information, please do not hesitate to contact us at info@momsenbikes.com. We appreciate your support and assistance in this matter."
  5. Would be sure those clauses are wholly against the constitution. What stupid terms and conditions as well, no wonder the sporting talent dies off.
  6. Saw that, and how he accuses Joffe of something then does exactly the same thing. Does not engender much faith/respect in the DA, mind you few if any politicians ever have. I do like Gabrielle's response to him though, would interesting to see his response. If any.
  7. This year, and they're 12k ... ok
  8. Dunkeld, plenty 2012 and 2013 Scotts in stock.
  9. S'pose for some it's like wearing your favorite foot ball team's top or a bok top. Doesn't really bother me, although wearing replica world champ/national kit is a level of sever douchness for sure!
  10. See this very issue is under the spotlight in Wendy Knowler's consumer column in the Star.
  11. Hairspray, non corrosive and does the job!
  12. Or just wear a brightly coloured swimming cap.
  13. Would it be rude if I mentioned I'm selling my Fox Flux, R500. Matt black. Literally have worn that thing 5 times.
  14. Domestic duties, smashing, can I drop off my ironing
  15. If it bothers that much, then maybe the question needs to be asked "Am I experiencing life vicariously through some internet forum?" Take a breath, walk away from the puter ...
  16. What a stupid topic. The answer, and it'll always be the most unpopular. Whatever wheel size works for you.
  17. Looking forward to it Burry Stander Philip Buys Marc Bassingthwaighte (Namibia) Adrien Niyonshuti (Rwanda) http://www.london2012.com/cycling-mountain-bike/event/men/phase=cmm021100/index.html
  18. She's 20, barely out of juniors and has been placing top field in u23 World Cups, with a podium. The goal for Olympics was to keep from being lapped by the older elites. At 20 it's good for her to experience this level of competition as in investment. With the continued support this lady should have a bright future on the circuit over the next few years. So on the surface, not a glamorous race for her, but it has to seen in context.
  19. I held one once. But temptation got the better of me and I tore the wrapping off the chocolate.
  20. Different bike to the Tread test though, but sure is a looker
  21. Not going to discount him yet, BMX career is far from over. Hopefully he'll still be good for 2016 and we'll qualify extra spaces to have a stronger squad. Could possibly have displayed some extra aggression, but his pace was just not there, although looking at the two near misses he had in two of the heat's crashes that was some fine skill. Reckon if wasn't for that second crash he would've taken 3rd, in fact the slo-mo footage show how the Colombian riders bike actually hit Skizo. I'm still for him, he's doing a lot for the sport and still performing generally. Reading this article I can't help but think he's feeling this more than anyone else. Especially considering how fickle Saffa sports fans are. http://www.roadtolondon2012.co.za/2012/08/09/sorry-i-couldnt-make-south-africa-proud-sifiso/#.UCPwnlDEUI4.twitter

  23. Titanium is all bling... Raleigh, Momsen, Cotic (I think), Ritchey are some of the steel frames available.
  24. A beaut machine! Better watch out Dangle Fork looks very similar to the Syncros one https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=330880970328272&set=a.330277087055327.75041.145596722190032&type=3
  25. It's only the TT, Skizo's preference is the race itself. Even without the slip on the pedal the expectation was to be mid pack on the finish. Mark Squire ‏@MarkSquire @nealcol @dinolloyd @Mr_TREAD @OlympicsSA not a all, Skizo doesn't enjoy TT, he prefers racing with 7 other riders on track... Mark Squire ‏@MarkSquire @dustinluks his foot unclipped pulling out the gate nothing serious, ready to start racing tomorrow, heats & 1/4 final
