    Can never go wrong with Hope. Can’t comment on the rims though. Never used them. The Lyne Amp wheels are really impressive though. The high engagement version sounds like an angry swarm of bees. Love it.

    My black ones are still black but olive green ones look like swamp moss now. The liners that came with them didn’t really do that well. The mesh is full of holes now but the padding is still ok for short rides.

    About 7 years ago I bought two pairs of Dakine shorts. They were expensive and I wasn’t earning too much at the time so it was a massive expense for me. I still use them and I can’t even find a single loose thread anywhere. I imagine the Fox shorts would be the same. They e had their fair share of crashes too. I can’t say the same for the board shorts I used before that. 6 months in and the bottoms became thin and stitches started popping. For shirts I’m not picky. Anything that dries quick and ventilates well.

    Check out Anatomic for some budget shorts. Cant find the online store link now. They are on Beyers Naude drive. Clearance sections at MX or motorbike stores can get you some great deals on jerseys. I wish Full Throttle still had theirs in Edenvale. They had MTB specific shirts from Troy Lee at times for as little as R150.

    odd. Doesn't work. It goes to Strava to authorise and then bumps me back to Rouvy and Strava still shows Disconnected.

    Did you connect Strava from the website or inside the desktop app? Or mobile/tablet app? I can't seem to find it and the website connection doesn't work.

    1. Are their videos 1080P? Up to 4k 4. If for example my son and I ride the same route at the same time each on their own trainer/PC will we see each other in real time and have a go at each other (sort of a race)? Should show up together 5. Can you download the videos or is it streaming only? Download and stream. 2k and 4k gets really big to download. 6. Does it automatically upload to Strava? No. TCX Export. At least on my end. 8. Are there enough routes to cover all facets of training (not just pure climbing routes all the time)? I found it to be well balanced. 9. Are the routes decent distances (i.e. at least 30km and more)? Currently have an 80km route loaded. At least some answers for you.

    Bluetooth but on Mac. I believe Windows 10 has some connectivity issues with Bluetooth so it's recommended to use Ant+

    I've never had Evobikes sell me a secondhand fork claiming it is brand new because "it came off a bike on the floor" I'm not the only person who's had that happen. In-store service is also not great.

    My first 1x conversion was from a 3x9 using a 32t front and 11-34 cassette on the rear. No chainline issues and the derailleur was happy to keep the chain tensioned. Can you remove the chainrings from that crank? Hard to say from the photos.

    Switched to Rouvy from Zwift. Got a little over the "Sims 6: Cycling Ediition" feel and gamification of it. We are also two people in the house that use Kickr so it made more sense from a financial point fo view too. Bought a Tickr strap to get past the issue of HRM not working with the Apple Watch. Super happy.
