My best is 2:13, 1st lap of two, also never managed more than two laps.

Mine also stopped working after a few months, I just assumed it was a dud battery and took it off. I have been meaning to replace the battery and start using it again so will do so today and let you know if it works or not.

JB, I don't understand one aspect of your detailed explanation above. If the tension of the spokes on the lower portion of the wheel decrease as they rotate surely that would imply that the opposite spokes would increase in tension correspondingly?

Maybe we should really screw with the system and ride a second lap in the opposite direction .

If I had to single out a single event it would have to be finishing the Etape du Tour. Apart from that though I think that just the fact that my performance is still improving with every race is a highlight for me, especially at the ripe old age of 47. Introducing more people to cycling also counts as a highlight and riding a 2nd lap of the 94.7 with those friends was probably more of a highlight than the race itself. Bring on 2008.
