  2. "I know that sprinting at the end of races like that is not like sprinting for a town sign. I always go into a sprint with confidence," Pidcock said after the race. https://www.cyclingnews.com/races/de-brabantse-pijl-la-fleche-brabanconne-2021/elite-men/results/
  3. Seems like they are getting him back into it slowly and why he is starting the leadout perhaps, getting confidence, getting comfortable before getting back into the pointy end of things. Am sure Cav is helping him having crashed quite a few times himself.
  4. Fortunately Fabio started the leadout for Cav with 5km to go and pulled off with about 3km to go was not in the heat of it.
  5. Yes he can!!
  6. 3 from 3 !!! Big Crash behind, looks like all ok

I have sent proof and received nothing to date, not even recognition that they have received my proof either... so am not holding out much hope that our entry being carried forward will be honoured.

  16. Why bother linking Zwift with Garmin/Strava if you are recording the same indoor ride on your Garmin watch or head unit? There is no need to as Garmin watch/head unit will record the same info which you can then sync to Discovery/Strava or wherever and you don't have to go through the hoops of setting up different accounts or deleting duplicates byt having both Zwift and Garmin linked to Strava. Just don't link Zwift.
  17. Ladies Dwars Door Vlaanderen today
  18. Comrades 2022 a down run https://www.news24.com/amp/witness/sport/comrades-2022-will-be-a-down-run-confirm-marathon-organisers-20210330
  19. Have already rolled over IM Venice, still hoping Durban happens and have IM Weymouth in Sept. Maybe UK will be fully vaccinated by then and some normality in life.
  20. A lot will depend on the plan you are considering as a 5 day plan may have very easy and short runs in the beginning of the base phase before going into the build phase where there will be more intensity and duration. You will need to look at the plan you are considering using to see how the workouts are structured and factor in whether you need to ramp up as considering.
  21. The more you run the better, if you have the time to run 5 days a week. The novice 3 day plan will give you a basic level of fitness and enough to maintain fitness. The intermediate 5 days a week run will also improve fitness as you progress through the plan. Running in winter here is not bad. Depends on when you run. If early morning then you will need gear to suit, if around 5pm you probably have enough gear already. Gear for early morning runs when really cold. Running tights, cotton gloves, beanie, buff. lightweight running jersey and if windy a cycling gilet or running rain jacket to keep the cold wind off the chest. You will also have to consider lights if your route is not lit by street lights, head lamp or torch in hand. For safety if running in the dark some fluorescent strips i.e belt, ankle straps or vest, so that you light up and reflect for any traffic Personally, I prefer running early morning for similar reasons as Wayne described. Cold air on the cheeks definitely invigorates.
  22. He had to put the brakes on, he could well have got it
  23. They controlled it very well and marked out Valverde, was always going to be difficult for movistar. Team performance it was
  24. Ineos lockout!
  25. Yep, been training for a month or so, also my athletes. If we dont have a 3rd wave i think we have a good chance of it happening, especially if IM can show the authorities that Dubai an NZ races happened with Covid protocols in place and without incident.
