you will get tons of solicited and unsolicited advise, enough to confuse the crap out of you.
Remember all of it, but use only what works for you.
everykid is the same, in that they are different, and every family is unique. What works for one won’t work for another.
Great piece of advice. Thanks for sharing.
I thought of starting this thread for Dads/fathers new and old, to one and to 12. To be a place where they can ask for advice, share ideas and just talk about the role as a father in todays society.
I'm going to be a first time father and thought a place where I can ask for advice in a " like-minded" community would be amazing and would possibly benefit a number of people. They say it takes a village to raise a child and some of us don't really have a "village". So let this be The Bikehub Fatherhood Village.
This does not exclude anyone to be part of the conversation.
Are we allowed to receive bottles from family at the spectator points?

Don't think so. I might be wrong but I believe his BH is for sale here on the hub and seen on his social media that hes riding a bianchi.
Thanks for the info everyone. I'll be in C batch. See you guys there!
Might be a dumb question, but do I need to take my Saseeding mtb board with? or any timing chips? I haven't done a race in 6 years.

I have this problem and even with truing it still does this under load. Think next would be to respoke with stronger spokes.

I too took a few days off the bike and will start within the next few days again, however the last few months have been decent so not too concerned. Hoping for a solid 5 weeks though 🤞
Probably 150k a week.. No seriaas structure, just riding. I plan to do a few 6+ hour rides in the coming weeks, so I should be fine ( cautiously optimistic)
Attakwas with 5 weeks of training... Am I crazy?

Anyone here that can help with a trail run route in Clarens or Bethlehem? I’m visiting the in-laws next weekend and I’d like to go for a run on the Saturday morning. Any help would be appreciated.
Hi there,
Thanks for your query!
While it is technically possible to change a 360 hub to a ratchet system (for which you can then upgrade to 54T) this is NOT advised, and will void any warranty your hub/wheels still have.
Think of it like putting a Ferrari motor into a Fiat, just because they are the same brand/company does not mean they are compatible or that either were designed for this.
360 hubs use the 3pawl forward drive system, and to upgrade your hub to a faster engagement would require replacing the entire hub to a Star Ratchet model (350, 240s) or a newer Ratchet EXP model (240, 180)
Hope this helps, sorry it's not the answer you were probably hoping for
Thanks for the prompt reply. Helps a lot.
Any idea if the DtSwiss 360 internals from a Roval traverse 29 wheelset can be upgraded to the 54t ratchet? Read somewhere that you can’t?
A bit of a thread revival. Any hubbers that bought a Titan Cypher that can give some insight/review of the bike?
Thats MVDP ftp territory. Crazy.
This has to be a thread revival record? 13 years!
I see they, ISN, signed Mike Woods for 2021.
No, but a house is...
I think it’s a good move, given his age and where he is in his career. This could open up a lot more opportunities for him.

Thanks to everyone for the responses. I am amazed at how my outlook on life changed when I realised I'm going to be a Dad. One realises that you'll never be alone again, in sense that it isn't just the wife and I any more. There will always be another person in the house, and by house I don't always mean the literal structure.
I also never realised how hard it is to get a name we both like and how hard it is to actually give someone a name.
