  1. You should be able to get a 36t in 120 bcd.
  2. You can actually use a quich release skewer with some spacers to press the bearings in. Have used this method before and it works quite well.
  3. My last order took over 4 weeks. Was actually in the process of putting in a claim for lost goods when it arrived.
  4. I had a set of those wheels and they don't need tape.
  5. The only way the sealant can come of the holes on the sides of the rim is if it is getting past the valve stem. Tighten the valve stem properly, give it a few turns with a pliers.
  6. I am running a 34t on my 26er and have a 11-40 10sp at the back. I have cycled up some pretty big hills and haven't needed the 40 yet. Got it there as a bail out gear and I am sure I will use it and look for more in a hilly race. Go 32 else you will be spinning out a lot.
  7. Not sure what it was about but Carte Blanche do occasionally focus on some positives. I know CWC have been doing a lot of good in the community.
  8. Probably ok to sandblast if you are going to paint it, but not if you want a nice shiny raw aluminium finish. Some have been having great results with Plascon Remove All paint stripper. Apparently applying it, waiting a while and then hosing off layers of paint.
  9. A Pyga. Low maintenance do it all DS.
  10. Apparently some chemists stock the book.
  11. No, my Scott has a 34.9mm seatpost and we all know bigger is always better.
  12. I just bought a brand new 2011/2012 Scott Scale 20 26er with a Fox fork and full 10sp XT for my son and paid 9k for it. This bike retailed for about 20k, now because it's a 26er no one wants it?? People I know rather bought their son a 650B Momsen that weighs 15kg for the same price, whereas the Scale weighs in at 10.7kg's with pedals.
  13. That frame has the same problem as my scott genius in that a bigger wheel wont fit past that top pivot.
  14. I don't think you can put a 10 speed cassette on a 11 speed hub.
  15. Incredible result. Surely it must be Master division though and not Grand Master?
  16. Where do you get this from?
  17. Ha ha, not something you see everyday, a wedding/wedding photo shoot taking place on your favourite singletrack. Maybe they are keen mountain bikers as well.
  18. Try going to an engineering shop in your area and ask them to make you one out of nylon.
  19. OK Rouxtjie, your'e on. Give it your best.
  20. Don't ask questions like this on the hub, just gives the Avid haters ammo. A simple bleed will sort you out.
  21. The limitation with 1x10 is the 11t gear at the back, which reduces your top end when running a 34t up front. For most this shouldn't be an issue, but for those with enough power might want the 10t at the back that the 1x11 offers.
  22. Yes, did mine on Sunday and my thumbs still hurt from the syringes
  23. There is almost certainly still air in the system. Lots of tapping on the lever and calliper and lots of pulling on the syringe. I recently blead my Elixir 7's and after bleeding them twice and still having the problem you are having, I gave them another bleed doing the above and couldn't believe the amount of air that came out.
  24. The fat shake is very drinkable, maybe just add a bit less butter in the beginning until you are used to it. The Nomu chocolate powder is lekker, I mix it into my full cream yoghurt sometimes to give it a bit of flavour.
  25. All done, shifts beautifully. Might have to take 1 or 2 links out the chain, will take her on the trails first. She must be the most pimped Scott Genius.
