  1. I know a lot of people use Discord when riding on Zwift, so could be another option? No idea how it works, but found this basic guide: https://zwiftinsider.com/using-discord/
  2. I've registered, hopefully I have my bike again tomorrow.

    Rapha Festive 500

Finished it this morning. I'll look at my bike again on Saturday, thank you very much...
  4. Ours is as easy as you can get. Nearly never ill, and not destructive at all (unless the victim is a toy). She's about 12 though, so perhaps when they are young they can be a handful. Not stupid, she does muffin pan like a champ (hide treats under halved tennis balls in a muffin pan). But tricks do take longer with her than two of our others (but much better than our Jack Russel, who refuses to stoop to doing tricks).

Damn. Looks like my backlog is going to grow even more...

Going to wait and see. At launch, Diablo 3 was a mess - I got killed at the first slightly more powerful enemy, due to lag... and I was solo. Certainly looks good though! And the cinematic trailer looks amazing
  8. Cheaper than Ciovita's top end Apex bib short, at least... but still more than double the most expensive item in my cycling closet.
  9. Sorry for your loss
  10. My wife's Garmin workouts are syncing just fine, including this morning's. I did have something similar a few weeks ago with my Suunto, where a 4h+ road ride just got ignored.

Looks like a fun little distraction. But it also looks like there are a few bugs and control issues to sort out. For now I'll wait a bit before buying, and keep an eye out for updates
  12. Ours was quite a bit higher this month, and we are supposed to be on price lock. Guess they have to get your discount from somewhere Now that we have uncapped fibre, DSTV probably won't be renewed once this period finishes.
  13. For any Suunto users, you can now link the new Suunto app to Discovery. Just keep in mind that the Email/Username field is case-sensitive, if you struggle to login and you KNOW it is the correct password... Previously in the help pages, it stated that workouts back to 10 Jul would be pulled in, but I see that has disappeared now. Oh well.
  14. I don't think so, only seems to be Momentum currently. Would be great if Discovery could add it, looks like a very useful tool!
  15. Three months and the new Suunto app is still not integrated. I'm going to have a lot of board plays come 2023 when they finally fix it...
  16. From this article, it looks like Cav moving to Bahrain-Merida is almost certain: https://www.cyclingnews.com/news/mark-cavendish-edging-closer-to-bahrain-mclaren-for-2020/

Can you stretch your budget a bit and go for a kit with the 3400G (4 Core, 8 thread, versus 4/4 on the 3200G)? For example: https://www.evetech.co.za/amd-ryzen-5-3400g-tuf-b450-plus-16gb-ddr4-upgrade-kit/best-deal/6380.aspx Ideally though, something with the 3600, since you plan on buying a separate GPU anyway. 6 core, 12 thread, based on the newer design than the 3200G or 3400G. https://www.evetech.co.za/amd-ryzen-5-3600-tuf-b450-plus-16gb-ddr4-upgrade-kit/best-deal/6336.aspx
  18. Probably the Companion app. To be honest, I mostly use it to enter events or currently check on my training plan. But I run Zwift on my tablet, on a stand within easy reach - when running it on a PC or laptop, the app might be of more use. It does allow you to connect Bluetooth sensors to the game, if for example you have a Bluetooth-only HRM and your PC doesn't have Bluetooth).
  19. I don't have a Garmin head unit, so I can't say for sure, but to my knowledge the head units don't have the option act as a bridge to rebroadcast over Bluetooth
  20. I think the Stages should work just fine via Bluetooth, for both power/cadence. My P1 pedals do - I just can't use them for power when using the trainer as the controllable, so if you get "No signal" from the trainer or PM (depending on which pairs first), try selecting the Kickr as both power and controllable.
  21. Unfortunately the Zwift android app doesn't support ANT+ yet. The app has many other issues, so not sure how high a priority it is for them. There are workarounds, in that there are devices that can connect to the ANT+ one and rebroadcast over Bluetooth. But then you could rather just buy a cheap HR strap that supports both protocols Edit: or, buy the 4iiii HR strap, which is more expensive, but can also rebroadcast other ant+ devices over Bluetooth, in case you have the same problem with a cadence sensor for example
  22. Well, from my little experience from Crossfit, the Olympic weightlifting takes plenty of skill, speed and agility to get underneath a bar with stupid heavy weight, along with the strength of course. Which is why most people can't go heavy with the snatch lift, compared to the deadlift which is mostly just strength.
  23. On the main screen, with the Portfolio and Shortcuts tabs, click on the "Health" block. On the next screen, scroll down and look for Devices and apps, under the Get active heading
  24. I doubt anyone knows, even Discovery... The number of open issues on their help page is growing much faster than the resolved issues: https://www.discovery.co.za/portal/vitality/help My Suunto can sync with Movescount, but since I only bought it recently, and I am not going to register yet another account that might or might not stop working at some undefined point in time, I've given up for the time being.
