  1. Route profile has been uploaded onto the events page. Looks to follow much of the same route as the Magalies Classic in April.
  2. A nice vid of Mr Min. WATCH | MTB in PMB with Greg Minnaar | Ride24 (news24.com)
  3. If you have a chain breaker similar to pic, the little gap at the bottom fits perfectly around the valve head to allow you to unscrew/screw.
  4. Herold Wines. You can find them on Google Maps. Fantastic Lunch spot and wine tastings.
  5. Montagu pass is a good option. Not single track but still a good measure of fitness. Road a bit gnarly in places but and awesome ride. There is also a hidden gem on the Oudsthoorn side of the pass in the way of Herold Wines.
  6. With outside gatherings restricted to 250, don't think that it will go ahead.
  7. My 2 cents worth: Gibbons a definite good choice. Top Saffa in the UCI rankings (70th) and has shown good results in the recent events in Spain which have all been pretty bumpy. Also not doing TDF so should be pretty fresh. Impey also a good choice. UCI Ranking 195. Not sure how he is healing up post his crash in the Vuelta a Andalucia. Also down to do TDF so could be tired going into the Olympics with there being only a couple days between end of TDF and Olympics. Dlamini not so sure. UCI ranking of 609. Would rather of looked at the likes of Maincheese
  8. Also wandering what makes the OP think it is stolen? Where is the said bike being advertised?
  9. You are basically just looking for the Elastomer Kit. Try contacting Abloc (www.abloc.co.za). support@abloc.co.za
  10. AS King Crispy said. Lots of gravel roads, especially the back end of Wilderness. Park at the Wilderness Common (great little coffee shop across the street). Awesome mix of gravel and tar going up the back of Wilderness Heights and out Hoekwill way.
  11. Nairo Quintana
  12. Fark. That is hectic. Hope to God that the driver actually stopped and is willing to face the consequences.
  13. Do a post in the For Sale section if not already done so.
  14. And that's why I avoid Bidon. It has become an absolute **** show of late with the number of people there.
  15. Thanks. Dr Google also indicates so.
  16. Just saw on FB that a lady rider went missing this past weekend while riding at Rietvlei. Her car and bike were found in the parking lot. Sending prayers to her family and friends in the hope that she is safe and is found.
  17. Maybe this: Shimano BB Spline ES51 | CWC (cwcycles.co.za)
  18. Also need to consider the stock issues that are being faced at the moment. Led to believe that Shimano issues will only be resolved mid year (July) and Sram only in September.
  19. Have recently changed over from an Ultegra Crank to a FSA Kforce Light crank. Having followed the installation guidelines for a BSA frame fitment, there is a gap between the BB and the left crank arm where the wave spring washer is. (see pic) Would I need an adjustable spacer as well?
  20. Last did it in 2015 and also still have the war wounds to show for it. (pic attached - not for the faint hearted)
  21. Thanks. They are my LBS so will give them a shout.
  22. No comments! This makes me even more scared
  23. Hi Hubbers I have committed to doing a ride down to Durban end of October finishing off with the Amashova. The route that we are planning on following is: Day 1: Stone Haven on Vaal to Reitz (+/- 153 Km) Day 2: Reitz to Bergville via Kestell /Sterkfontein Dam (+/- 180 Km) Day 3: Bergville to Nottingham Road (+/- 130 Km) Day 4: Nottingham Road to PMB (+/- 50 Km) Has anyone done this route before and if so does anyone have route profiles etc to share. Thanks
  24. This begs to question either the test process or the effectiveness of the vaccine considering the entire team and staff were vaccinated earlier this year.
