  1. That's what she said? Has this been asked?
  2. Haha, I've been there... Just outside the winter palace in St Petersburg... must say "they" are a dime a dozen, but didn't see one on a bike. Also, mostly blond and quite often taller than 6ft... Awesome place!
  3. Haven't got any pics but have been servicing my Suntour Axon fork for a while not... super easy when you figure out what is going on- clean out seals, replace oil etc. Would put new seals in, but can't source any, but so far so good. I also increased it from 80 to 100mm of travel... very tempted to drill another hole and make it more...
  4. Charging bricks are becoming more and more common... get ones that offer over 10000mAh- so a couple of ipads can be charged with the thing before it needs to be recharged... You could eliminate the charging station completely and leave the brick in your bag. Just google portable charger EDIT: Showtime beat me to it. But that is a very small one at only 2000mAh
  5. Parys? or just outside... couple of place in the general crater area... can do some long rides and depending on where you go they might have some tracks for you too. Can also go rafting etc...
  6. It would work, but the gearing would be a bit off and your bb would be quite close to the ground... Geometry would be a bit messed up too, but it would be unique...
  7. Always wondered how much fun those guys can have... now I know! Seems like there is an awesome team spirit there.
  8. Some shops have started adding a time delayed popup for certain things... 10 minutes on a page and it comes and says... you seem to be having trouble deciding- how about a 10% discount... My bet is that it works 90% of the time.
  9. Personally I think sizing is up to personal preference and comfort... If you like riding your small bike and you're comfy on it, then don't listen to other people saying its too big or too small... I went from a M to L because I like being a bit more stretched out on longer rides. New vs 2nd hand... Its like buying a car... some things can be hidden, other can't... sometimes you get a bargain for a reason, other times it is a bargain... However people who know what to look for will be "luckier" in the long run. The main thing to remember is to never listen to what the seller is saying, they lie, if something looks worn to you and he says its cosmetic and will last forever- don't be a tjop!
  10. Thanks Johan Didn't mix them- cleaned out completely and put dot 4 in... unless there was some dot 3 in some small amounts somewhere I don't think it is the fluid. Odd that it says dot 3 or 4 on the cover though. I see there is a slow lever kit from crc http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=24686 Anybody in this country stock hayes spares?
  11. Thanks MooZN Seems like some silicone spray is in order.
  12. Good Morning everybody So I'm having a little trouble with my brakes... Completely disassembled them and cleaned etc then bled and I am having the same problem. The cylinder that the lever pushes does not get pushed back by the spring when the lever is released, resulting a very long hard 30km (I was winning and didn't want to stop). The specs say to use DOT 3 or 4 and I have used dot 4. Without fluid in etc the levers work very well and the spring pushed back to where they should be, however with fluid in and connected to the pad they get stuck at the bottom. Any suggestions?
  13. Anybody got a number for customs for incoming mail? Maybe an email address?
  14. You could lengthen it...
  15. Some of the Giro's have a built in backlight... pretty cool little feature.
  16. Styrofoam is a good insulator, so there should be hardly any head conduction to your head, however the black may increase the amount of radiation, however I don't think it will be noticeable with the wind. I haven't looked at the weights, however sometimes the neck pain can be because the visor is too low and you have to bend you head up a lot to see the trail/road which causes the pain and another lid could sort that out. Speculation though.
  17. Slightly off topic, but Ster Kinekor charges an online booking fee or something like that when you book online or with the app... does that fall into the same category?
  18. Learnt on one of those multi coloured bmx's with training wheels... Then got a 5 speed little red job and then an Aero505 with grip shifts... rode that till 3rd year varsity- then convinced my dad that a proper mtb was cool and got a raleigh rm4... next was a custom ss and a very old Zini Sport... and so the collection grows. Mom and dad both ride now- just have to get my brother to join in.
  19. You could get a 3D printed part possibly... Otherwise pratley's steel and pins.
  20. I speak under correction but I think they are above 6bar and then you need some special licences to deal with that.
  21. I recon it will take one good win in a pressure game like this to make us unbeatable... Somehow the 438 game didn't do it though
  22. I commend you're attitude 'Dale... it ait over yet!
  23. It doesn't matter if its indigenous, its not going to grow... or am I wrong?
  24. Yip, it would quite a ride in I guess...
  25. Apparently the tabloids have been playing the chokers card to a large extent. If ever there was a time to prove them wrong this would be it.
