    Went to the park on a Sunday afternoon and there was not another soul in sight, even after I went OTB. Haven't ventured back yet, but need to at some point, confidence takes a huge knock when coming off like I did. Simple issue was I wasn't carrying enough speed...

    Light tech, but generally long haul routes with decent elevation gain(I know it's not exactly plentiful up here). Training for Karoo2C at the moment and I'm not keen on breaking anything. Any preferences? Will give those a look so long... Thanks

    Hi All, hope everyone is doing well! Just wanting to find out some decent areas to ride in and around PTA. (Up from the Cape of Plenty trails) Been to Wolwespruit and can't say I'm at all impressed with anything there... Any recommendations would be appreciated... Regards

    On the EBike batch debate, the only way is to start them in front of the normal bikers... (This is bound to hurt some peoples ego though ). 30/60 min behind means nothing if turbo mode is applied.

    In my humble experience, I'm running XT M8000 levers with the newish MT520 calipers, great modulation, especially if you get the XT M8120 pads, then they work a bit better. I'm around 105kg fully kitted, and the modulation is really great! Currently on a 180/180mm disc setup and there's no excuses for not stopping on any gradient...

    Don't think it would handle tight switchbacks very well, I mean some 29er's struggle.

    Just a heads up, anything structural you'll be wanting to print in PETG/ABS... PLA just won't hold up????(nor in the sun either).

    Now I know the language of the cows!???? Sometimes it's just easier not to disturb the whole herd though, often times they are all in one spot (between Protea hotel and Altydgedacht)

    Also try Hoogekraal, some switchbacks there, but nothing super technical.

    Generally speaking front wheels are a 2x cross pattern, rear wheels are a 3x cross lacing pattern. (From my experience)
