  1. Dude, there is to many zeros. I starting to wonder if I should buy stuff from you. So which racing wheels are you looking at? Ox_Wagon2008-03-24 05:54:23
  2. The spacing differs, as usual just check Sheldon Browns (RIP) website. Campy = 4.12mm to ShimaNO = 3.95mm. <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><?: PREFIX = O /> Check the table two third down after the 10sp cassette table (collaborated by the CTC website) http://www.sheldonbrown.com/k7.html BUT it is in the range of slop that most new derailleur can handle. I haven?t personally run it like that but I know of people that do use it like that. I am running oooold Mavic cassette with 9sp Campy. Here is some ?Sick? Campy Shimano mixing info (mixing levers with derailleur) http://www.ctc.org.uk/DesktopDefault.aspx?TabID=3946 http://www.hearingoffice.com/download/hearing/10_Speed_Conversion_screen.pdf
  3. Coooool , BUT those wheels with all the red just dont work on the bike I think I will have to take them over from you
  4. There was problems with last years models (larger sizes more prone) breaking where the seat post attaches to the top tube and/or where the shock mount is welded to the down tube. <?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> For 2008 they beefed up the weld of the shock mount and added a gusset on the top tube where it connects to the seat tube. I can only assume they still have problems in those two areas. If you the first owner it should be covered by the warranty. The <?:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Canaan tend to have a long toptube, for there size, which is inline with its XC racing design. I think people therefore tend to ride smaller sizes with longer seatpost putting lots of stress on the seat tube. I currently riding a 19? but would like to get something with a sorter toptube. I therefore looking at 18?/Meduim. I tried both the medium and the small Canaan and the Small was the better fitting one but it would mean a 400mm seatpost with my hefty body on top of it with a rather short seat tube, so I pasted on a realy good deal. I a currently riding a vintage Mongoose MTB and therefore really like them and also like the Canaan but the frame is building up a bad reputation similar to the mid 90?s IBOC Alu Team with the triangle top tube.

  11. Sorry, I am not following you. <?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> Do you have Spez shoes that are giving you problems? I have the same problem, but with Diadora and Olimpic shoes. The LBS?s said the problem is the small SPD cleat and that if you use road pedals it should improve, NOT. I changed to road pedals and the problem persisted. Some recommended the Specialized Body geometry shoes that you are having problems with.
  12. Will make for a bumpy ride.
  13. Slowpoke, a 120mm front tire on most larger bikes would not have a problem. I think they introduced the rule for the smaller capacity bike with Marie-biscuit wheel. The problem is that a bicycle 23mm tire is a lot smaller. Just imagine them putting conveyor belt over each joint, eeicch<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> Ox_Wagon2008-03-12 06:39:38
  14. How fast do you have to ride to insure nobody steels your wheels? No water tower anymore The other big thing is that no motorcyles is allowed on that section of Highway due to the expantion gaps on the bridges. I wonder what they will do about them.
