Thanks to getting a frame from our fellow hubber Jules I put this together in the last 2 days ...

The fork was interesting as the stantions were a bit worn and it needed a service.

Took it to Grumpy at CycleHub who luckily had a brand new set of stantions albeit with a white crown. He fitted it and serviced the fork.

Did some 'rattle canning', got a mate to make some decals in matt black to go with the 'black on black' theme and Bob's your uncle as they say.

Removed the decals from the wheels I had so they would also look kief [emoji41]

Moved stuff around from my other bikes and ended with this ... All in all I spent about 5000 ZA rondts so not too shabby me things.

Need a 140mm centre lock rotor or an adapter to run 160 at the rear still SO if anyone has [emoji3]5379e6b784ff212e1833bb4274d7fc1c.jpg292f97ef5a7c4f25b78e968dc4bde4ec.jpg8c6b5b14db79534e5bf29d7dadefb3df.jpg5bd9bb5e03576f907dde0707f938b834.jpg

Just recently built up this bike:

2016 Taokas Lycaon.

Di2 M8050 // 170mm RS Lyric // Ibis 742 carbon rims 35mm internal width // Magura Trail Carbon brakes // Renthal Fatbar Carbon and Renthal stem // 30t Fifty-Fifty NW chainring // 11~46 Sunrace cassete // Fox Transfer

Still need to fit the chain guide.

The Fox Transfer is too long for this bike, the slight kink in the seat tube stops the post from going deep enough, sigh.

Typical example of what happens when you back-pedal a 1x11 with a 46t
