next time they have a downhill session there they should really put some warning signs up for other people riding there. I was riding on the Saturday before the Sunday competition. Bombing down the Kloof section, I went straight through their hazard tape (where the Kloof meets the bottom of the downhill track, before the tabletop) that marked off the downhill route. That was the first I knew about their downhill practice session. Needless to say I got some  from the

spectators standing around.

something in the parking lot would assist or at the trail head, but I do think it was clear enough and marked out enough.

on race day I saw some riders come down the kloof, walk under the candy tape and then proceed down the DH finish run .... that was not clever.

other riders who came down the kloof stopped and took note of what was happening.

not having a go at you, just how I took note of the event.

on the day I rode (the Saturday) there was nothing to warn you until you got to the tape. I was going pretty fast down the Kloof (I love that section) so no time for looking up. Anyway no harm done, but could have been a bit k@k if their was a downhiller coming down at the same time.
