This was dubbed in SA and was known as Sending Vietnam if I recall correctly with the english voiceover available via radio .... so you end up playing the radio with the TV's sound off :)

who's old enough to remember the days before TV in SA. Squad Cars, Jet Jungle, The Mind of Tracy Dark on Springbok radio.

 

And the early days of TV 1976 - Iron Horse, Barrier Reef, The Brady Bunch, Shane, etc

and then trying to flippen well synchronise the vhs with the tape when you had recorded both!

 

I was too young to watch beverly hills 90210, but having a radio in the room meant i could still listen to it!
