Durban – A young KwaZulu-Natal woman says she never thought remaining a virgin would open so many doors for her. 

The 22-year-old from Estcourt, a farming town in the UThukela district, was one of 16 women who received bursaries from the district municipality because they were still virgins.

Isn't it the 21st Century????

That was my first thought, but if you read the article it actually provides a good point. IE: trying to persuade lighties not to get knocked up in school, which historically means that they do not further their education and sit in the benefit queue.

 

Backwards, but in a good way.

Yeah, but virginity testing sounds so Saudi Arabia/ISIS-esque. Feels very uncomfortable

This racism thing has now just become too much for me to handle...it's ok to see a girl of colours titties in the news but not a whitie.....life is unfair...
