Unless you get them on the side of the road - R20 for a bag of Natal butter avos. I've become a woolworths avo snob - i bought a couple of those Natal avos in the past - they're icky. The price range between r35 and r45/bag (normally 5-7 in a bag) pop them in the fridge and take two out the same day as purchase. They ripen up in 2-3 days. After you've had the first whip out the next. It works for me. I can't be without that mushy yellow/green delightfulnes. hmmmm avo.
