Generally the people that you know personally will know what you do for a living, they might even know where you stay

Crazy I know

and some people will stalk your strava rides, and race results, seedings ONLY BECAUSE THEY "CARE"

Those who know me personally know what I do for a living, but which I prefer not to divulge on a public forum. All above board though!

IF YOU BEEN AROUND IN THE SHADOWS YOU WILL KNOW THAT THE BOLD SECTION WILL GET YOU A LOT OF ATTENTION AND PROBING

Dodgy dodgy, alarm bells, ding ding ding!!!

Hi to all

You know when you have slipped into a room at an event where everyone knows each other except you, and after a while you have been there long enough for new people to arrive and they introduce themselves properly? Then you feel you've been there long enough to be "part of the crowd" but too embarrassed to admit you're still "a noob"?

This is a lot like that.

I'm in the Western Cape where the concentration of MTB trails are the highest, and surprisingly ride a mountain bike! Venture onto tar from time to time to have an interest and respect for roadies, but a budget which prevents further exploration.

Happy riding and racing!

Hey Guys'nGals,

I suppose I had better intro myself before I start babbling on the posts, because I believe that is etiquette!

Anyhoo, ex roadie (and Rhodie) who is now addicted to moontan bikes.

Also an Adventure bike rider, ag if it has two wheels I am in love with it!

I am on a LaPierre carbon 29'er I am the clown often on the Spruit with the music playing!

For why - do I ride that badly

Can the be sure. But it's a good idea because you're no longer on the flat manicured stretches of public black river of death.
