This is epic !! such good light . Well done.

Thanks man!

Sometimes we love our own shots for reasons unknown to the viewers, it might have taken hours to set up, get to, climbed into difficult spots or whatever.

This shot I love for the simplicity. Single shot, handheld. No fidgeting with setups, tripods, filters, longexposures, HDR's ... just a shot!

Shot in Durban this morning.

Which surfer did you hit? [emoji38] [emoji6] I must say that I miss Durban's (more Umkomaas/Aliwal Shoal area) warm water now that I live in Mosselbaai/George area. Used to go from Bloemfontein there every second weekend when I worked as a scuba instructor.

The Mweni Pinnacles.

Again this was shot in harsh light, with lots of dust in the air from the fires in the Berg.

I like your photos very much Veebee. I hiked a lot in the Berg, still do but not as much now, and you really get the feel of the place. That's not so easy to do. Landscape photography these days tends to over hdr and over saturation with little thought given to composition or feel. You are not doing that with these images.

Thanks man, appreciate the comments. I must admit that at first my photography sucked, or rather my processing. But have improved that by spending time with some pro's, Photoshop is a great tool to just improve what you have.

I now try to keep them looking natural, the only major change is converting them to B&W when needed.

Karoo is my dream place for retirement, which at this stage with 1st kid starting University next year and 2nd one two years after that and then 7 years later the last one, I don't think will ever happen [emoji33]
