I have the following on offer:-

13,4 fairly well used underpants - can be used to clean the bike

A tub of Whalefat to be used as chamois cream.

A bundle of mismatched socks, some cycling socks, safari suit socks and old rugby socks that I last used 42 years ago.

A few old cycling pants. The chamois are little marked but still in a good condition.

AEBRO, what is your usual helmet size?

It might make you feel better if you know the Catlike helmets are big, really big. I use a medium in all other brands but a small Catlike. There is a chance that it would be too big for you anyway.

whaa ha ha ha!!

yes, d!ckheads are quite small, not so? ha ha ah...sorry - couldn't resist

{open door...grab jacket...leave}

I cannot belive this is still going. I have known Gordon for 4 years and bought loads from him when he worked a bike shop. He is an honest stand up guy and I must agree that when the money is paid then the item is yours. I am buying a car at the moment and was busy arranging finance when a cash buyer paid for the vehicle and it is gone. Boo hoo, I cant cry over it, grow up and go find another.

And some of those king comments made my evening

Well congratulations on your 4 year anniversary for knowing Gordon, next year ill remember to send flowers...

Seeing we are all on first name basis now, I think "Gordon" re-acted to the OP's RANT like a tjop... because he is "known" to people doesn't mean he's forever excused for acting like a Ba'na'na

Let see what you guys think of this I was a potential buyer for a helmet that went up for sale Catlike whisper helmet. I PM'd the Hubber asking him about the helmet obviously calling dibs on the product.As we were discussing the product he had sold the helmet after I sent an sms and a PM and posting on the for sale ad that I want the product now why all of a sudden are there complete A@#H%#@! on the Hub it seems they don't understand the word dibs

This is the link to this seller's product you guys can give me an opinion if I am wrong or wright but you just don't operate this way.After this k@k move I don't really want to purchase from the hub anymore it is just not the way it use to be...

Calling "dibs" on an item being sold doesn't mean you have a deal. Only once you paid is the deal yours. To many Hubbers think that calling dibs will cancel out anyone else wanting to buy the item. you call "dibs" and I phone the guy for his address and go there, hand over the moola, the deal is mine fair and square.

Besides cash deals, for longer distances: confirming a price & shipping, and giving bank details and the buyer a day to make the transfer and send you PoP is what I think is reasonable etiquette. Also you as a seller are entitled to wait until the payment reflects positively in your account before shipping.

I have done a lot of deals like this, all gone well (except that carbon Richie Seat Post)
