One of my "bucket list" dogs

I follow someone in the states who has one and they look like little gentle giants and incredible dogs

Ruby Tuesday?

Okay, that was lame...

Was worried while I was at work about how Ruby would be getting on with the others. Needn't have bothered. She's settled in just fine!

Took her for her first walk to the local. Like Pikey told me, she loves walking! What she lacks in top-end, she more than makes up for in low-range torque! So strong but also gentle and responsive...

I think I might like her just a little bit...

I've never had a dog as big as Ruby before, and am getting used to the three-point turns! ^_^ Ruby has adopted this bed that Scar was lying on for a while last night...she extends either side of it!

I often get asked about how Squamish is getting on! Just fine! He's fully adapted...no problems getting what he wants, and getting at what he wants...

Hey Tumbles, if I ever need a home for one of my horses, I'll come a knocking

For sure, L! Plenty space! But did you ever see the pic of the Mexican standoff with Ghost and the donkey!

I know you do! Like I said, you guys are more than welcome to come and visit any time. Loved Lacey's questions last night! I was at my local, and my mate said I was being rude by being on my phone. I said: "Oi, shut up, I'm texting on Ruby's behalf!" Hahahahaha!

No, did not see it. Can you imagine taking your dogs for a walk with you astride a horse........

Yay! Excuse for a repost...asked for some water out back at the local market. We went into the donkey's spot, and he was not best pleased by us being there...!

We adopted this old GSD a few months back.

What an amazing dog, he truly seems to realise that we were his last chance.

The most gentle, loving yet highly protective dog.

We took him out with the Greyhounds this weekend.

He couldn't keep up with them but he still enjoyed his day thoroughly.

The mad thing in the front is Livewire, our fastest Greyhound.

Love this friend of mine

Secretly very happy that you finally got your St Bernard - even though we agreed you wouldn't!!

I love Ruby Ruby Ruby Ruby - she is gorgeous & Jules needed a bit of girl power back up with all those crazy boys.

Can we get her a little keg for her collar please?!

Hahahahaha! Indeed! I was scratching around my old bar stuff to find one, but my house is a mess after the great deluge of last week! So if you see one, grab it!

I was thinking that I would take her in until someone else had a place for her. Pikey and I spoke about it on Sunday; that should it not work out, I would make a plan to home her. Some people had expressed a bit of an interest, but nothing committal.

But, then Ruby walked through my gate and into my heart...so she ain't going nowhere!

edit: Oh, and does anyone know the music of Kristen Hersh? She does a cool song called Ruby...
