Crown Cycles ph 0216716382.

Epic cycles(gabriel road, diepriver).

Both very good shops but stay away from Olympic. Send the bike in for a service and you will regret it!

Crown is extremely good and parts are priced well but either of these shops are great.

I use Epic Bike Shop on Gabriel / Constantia Road Plumstead, Lance is great and always delivers on what they promise. Both Lance and Aylex cycle allot at a high level, so they know what they are talking about. You can take your bike there in the safe knowledge that it will be sorted first time.

What are your guys view on City Cycles in Canal Walk? How do you rate their service?

These guys only use the very latest in high tech monkey wrenches, bent old screwdrivers and old claw hammers held together with insulation tape. They're top notch, admittedly, the notch is at the bottom, but then, there is a Wimpy nearby.

Epic are great. And Lance WILL phone you before doing anything on your bike, and leaving you with a nasty surprize when you pick it up in the afternoon...

Theres a new service in Cpt called Getafix. He works in conjuction with BMC. Its a collect and drop off service for bike repairs for the busy people. Cant seem to find the flyer now.

Thanks for all the info. I think Epic or BMC it is. On Sunday I saw the Getafix van parked in the Tokai car park but can't seem to find any details on him.

If you want your bike sorted out first time, take it to CWC cause they have now employed Colin (ex Cycle Lab Northgate).

Jnr, you should NOT promote other shops!

+1 for Epic. If you can't do it at home, you might as well take your bike to someone who absolutely knows what they are doing. I even leave my road bike with them from time to time.

BMC look good too, just a little too far away for me.

Ha. Ha. Ha. That's now the FIFTH time you've tried to link me to CWC or imply that I am somehow Chris Jnr's alter ego. It was funny the first time, maybe even the second.

Refrain from doing so in the future.
