Good luck

What grinder did you get ??

I still need to get myself a coffee grinder, looking at the Gater Ceramic Burr Manual Coffee Grinder or the Hario Mini Mill from capecoffeebeans.co.za.

I see Woolworths is selling an Espresto for approx R1.4k.

Is it worth it?

Are Nespresso pods compatible?

And whether it's imported from Israel or not, that doesn't worry me :D

I would not bother with those machines - coffee is not good at all.

Isn't a pod machine a pod machine?

Surely it would depends on the coffee in the Pod as well as the pressure of the water?

I aint no expert thug but I would rather go with a machine that you can control the variables...

Grinding coarseness

Tamp pressure

Double / single shot

Its also way more fun to do it this way...the pod systems makes coffee that are consistent no doubt, but it might be consistent for the majority of peoples pallets, me personally don't like their tastes...but there is no wrong or right.

The problem with pod/capsule machines is that the coffee inside the pods is stale by the time you use it.  Not even the best quality coffee and the best espresso machine in the world can make up for the loss of flavour when coffee goes stale.
