cas247 Posted October 14, 2015 Share IMHO a bialetti brikka (stove top espresso maker) makes a far more superior shot of espresso, than any Nespresso machine I've ever used. If it's ease of use and convenience you're after, a Nespresso will suffice, however the cost per cup of coffee is exorbitant.

kenironside Posted October 14, 2015 Share Anyone have one of these? http://www.dionwired.co.za/krups-burr-coffee-grinder.html I have one. Only good for coarser grinds eg French Press, Aeropress, moka pot, etc. Quite inconsistent grind size. After a while the grind size control does not stay on place while grinding. Plastic box is very prone to static build-up. mazambaan
Brian Fantana Posted October 14, 2015 Share I purchased this PeDe oak grinder at a flea market the other day for R150. The burrs are still sharp, only some of the metal parts are corroded. So some sanding, cleaning and polishing will make it as good as new again. V12man and VeloRacer
