My first pair of proper flats and I can feel the difference, especially on power transfer to the pedals.Wish I could have bought a pair, but they were just too narrow for my feet.

The nice chunky ones for around R1000.00 and they too have a super grippy sole. I had Ardent 2.4 on front and back that wasn't grippy enough so I went 27.5x2.3 Minion DHF Front and Aggressor rear with Csixx Foamo inserts to protect rims at lower pressures and give a bit of cushioning on the HT. I have a wide forefoot and a high instep, and sizing ranges between 11 & 13 uk depending on the manufacturer and "last" that they use. Got a pair of 2fo's that fit perfectly, but only once the stock innersole is replaced with a much much thinner and more malleable version.

Next week I am planning on getting a pair of Freerider Pros I may very well be in the same boat.Took my Maltese back to the shop and they got hold of the supplier who said nothing wrong with my shoe but its is more for clipped in riding, as others here have mentioned.When they were asked but why offer the flat option then they could not answer.So consumer tip, if you are going to ride flats do not buy a shoe that can do both!!!
