I quickly swapped them out for a cheapie pair of flats from LBS, but my AEST flats have FINALLY arrived from China. R400 on ebay, magnesium body and titanium axle - 78g each. The 530s and the cheapies were both 190g per pedal.Underrated place to save weight, considering they spin round 18,000 times on average in a 4 hour ride. Movement on your MTB is almost all up and down, not sideways, so the force of the bottle is up into the over arm that keeps the bottle in place. I haven't had one user tell me they've lost a bottle on the sideloader, despite the promise of a replacement camelbak bottle if they did. This offer was futile as all I did was overstock on bottles that were never needed.....Though as much, looks like a better design. Just wanted to get ur feedback. I'll report back if they take a proper knock. Sorry, the eBay link was a dumb move. I couldn't find the original ebay item I used. It was an auction that I won for $34 and postage was free.
