I got the DD (double density) version cos I'm a fatbastard. Others have had success with cut up pool noodles wrapped in fibrous tape to lend it more strength, and I was going to do that until I saw they (Stoke) had the DD version on the shelf. I could have bought a pool noodle, a roll of gaffa tape and some extra time to cut out holes for the sealant to flow freely, get the pool noodle the right thickness, width and length then wrap it and install it but by then I'm already more than R 395 down in material and time with the fam. So no absorption at all. Pool noodle isn't anywhere near as dense as these FOAMO things though.

Bose Quietcomfort 20 Noise Cancelling headphones.Worked like a treat on the flight home from Sydney last night.
