I honestly don't see the value of a folding helmet, when normal helmets aren't exactly cumbersome to begin with. Not that it won't sell - I'm sure it will sell some units, just not that many. As a commuter I can certainly see the benefit of a folding helmet .... IF it provides the same level of protection that is. BenReaper 1

"should have been more clear, tbh. If it doesn't offer the same protection, I don't see the reason to pay more JUST because it's a folding lid. In the fight between protection characteristics (shock absorption etc) and stowability, protection wins. Which is why I went for the convertible lid...

I had my iPhone 5 as a spare phone and Strava phone after upgrading to a Huawei P9, as I'm not comfortable riding with the P9. A colleague was desperate for an iPhone so I sold her my iPhone 5, and got this - Samsung J1 Mini Prime, which I'll be taking with me when I ride to record on Strava, and it'll work as a spare phone as well. The cover arrived yesterday from Takealot.
