Garmin Edge explore - I have the edge 520 and sometimes when I go out on the trails I still need my phone for mapping so bought the explore which has full maps functionality. Garmin Varia , I get lost in thought ,this little device warns me of vehicles. Garmin Vivosport ,Xmas pressie for lovely wife. Her current tomtom getting old.I have the Varia horizontal light and this one seems vertical. Year or model difference? Just asking as I am happy with mine. Only thing I can think of is that battery life is extended and possibly brightness of the light itself. everything else I think is the same. Can get the older model cheaper but I scored the new one on a BF special. It’s a nice gadget and where I ride in the country lanes it’s superb in keeping me informed as I zone out quite effectively and get the odd surprise. They do look cool but I had so many issues with mine they were sold within a month or 2.The circlip that holds all the levers innards in place just would not stay put.
