SwissVan Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 These are the scheduled time, don't have a clue what today has to do with it. And to all you tonsils rooting Nino for the win, please immigrate . G Ja boet now you will have to wait another 4 years.... Really hope I can go to work on Monday and ram a Burry Stander win down some "hopp hopp cave dweller" throats
Wyatt Earp Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 I'm behind Burry all the way, but it does seem hit & miss sometimes for him. Or is it all just down to bad luck? Immigrate? Im·mi·grate [im-i-greyt] to come to a country of which one is not a native, usually for permanent residence. Or emigrate, when you find which one is grammatically correct, let me know, I will be checking my post box. Kavandje and NotSoBigBen 2
Cav' Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 Best of luck to the fellas, i really hope Burry gets on the podium - even a bronze would make my Sunday.
TNT1 Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 Best of luck to the fellas, i really hope Burry gets on the podium - even a bronze would make my Sunday. Ya, I hope he gets there. Hold thumbs for Lise Olivier too, she's en route to get second overall at Route de France Féminine this afternoon.

kosmonooit Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 My final prediction for medals: Julian, Nino, Burry. We've seen Burry on excellent form this year and doing well against all odds, but Julian is the master and Nino has pace like no other. Thing is with the Olympics its a great honour just to compete, to get a medal means you have won, to get Gold means you are Olympic champion of the world. We can be proud of him (and the others) no matter what the outcome. It also seems with XC (and BMX) it's down to good luck with the start, or bad luck being held back but others problems. Hard to come back to the leading group if you miss out. The weather predicted for London is "Warm or very warm with broken cloud and hazy, sunny spells. A few showers are likely to be affecting Hampshire from early this morning, perhaps an isolated one developing elsewhere later." 17 - 27
