rider1 Posted December 3, 2012 Share Hit Gumtree and keep updating the ads. Send emails to Cash Crusaders (there a "mail all stores" tab on their site) and Cash Converters (you have to do store by store). Get something through to the Stellenbosch local newspaper, if there is one. Mail all the bike shops or drop off flyers (Stellenbosch and northern suburbs). Put up flyers/"reward" posters on the road in from Khayamandi, Pniel, and the coloured areas. I'll bet you it's a local, and probably a tik-kop. I very much doubt it's a cyclist, for no particular reason except that it's not a usual occurrence at races. I really feel bad for those who lost their bikes and hope they recover them. I love how certain people can generalise. It seems only coloureds and blacks steal and do drugs. Your post definitely reflects your sick racist attitude. Yes I know I'll be lambasted by those in their ivory towers. Eddy Gordo and niterider
Meezo Posted December 3, 2012 Share If it means anything the Raleigh was kitted, with American Classic CR420 with full 105 and white look pedals. The Venge-Replica had Sram Red shifter, Force Front and Rear Derailer, and black Rival Brake arches. As in picture ENVE hoops.

chris_w_65 Posted December 3, 2012 Share I saw on Facebook that some idiot stole 2 motorcross bikes on a trailer from a casino. The idiot had his mugshot taken when he paid at the boom to get out. What a wally, he is in jail now thanks to Facebook

Yes I know I'll be lambasted by those in their ivory towers. Its got nothing to do with race, but everything with where bikes were recovered successfully in the past. If it makes you feel better, most of the coloured and black criminals work for white bosses and sell the bikes or broken up bikes on through white connections, so now its not about race anymore. jannosmit and Eddy Gordo

Let's Ride Posted December 3, 2012 Share Sorry to hear... I can bet they were people in cycling kit. Not necessarily cyclists though. Probably some tik addicts.

andretraut Posted December 3, 2012 Share Sorry to hear of your loss, but imagine the expression on the thief's face when he discovers that his newly acquired Venge S-Works McLaren is a knock off and the Raleigh is of more value! Captain Fastbastard Mayhem Posted December 3, 2012 Share This the end result when we got back to the car Ah. That rack doesn't have the locks on the braces the same way the Thules do, right? Just a set of screw on clamps. Sorry for your loss, guy, but you should really have locked them on to the rack seeing as the rack itself doesn't have a locking mechanism. I reckon I'd have had those bikes off in less than a minute with those clamps. Loosen nut then spin spin spin. Each of those can be undone in about 10-15 seconds if you're quick. Very true....sorry about the loss though, is it original Enve wheels or just stickers on normal wheels?
