kosmonooit Posted September 28, 2013 Share During the Youtube commentary of one of the races a viewer posted that the Oracle boat appeared so stable it looked as if it was controlled by computer. The next race commentary was disabled..... So issue is - was the trimming of the foil controlled by an automated system? Such feedback systems are commonly used in inherently unstable fly-by-wire aircraft to make them stable (ie most stealth aircraft). If so, that seems to be a breach of the rules. GoLefty!! Posted September 28, 2013 Share There is a lot of speculation that the foils were automated but it cannot be proven because the measurements committee passed the system.
