rouxtjie Posted July 19, 2013 Share I hope Froome would have learnt his lesson yesterday, and doesn't recklessly attack for nothing. I think he really underestimated his opponents and he almost burn his fingers big time. He needs to wait for someone else to make the move and then track. Yesterday he burnt his energy unnecessarily. Contador is definitely not the same rider as a couple of years back. The mountains was always his strength but he's been well off the pace and because of this, he's attacked on the descent which to be honest is not gonna get him anywhere. I fully expect Quintana to move ahead of him after todays stage.hold your horse boerewors....he has been around the block a few times. I do agree that he won't put minutes into froome this way...but he gets a reaction, and that is what he is after...SKY was cool and calm yesterday...smart play...when bertie made a move. He might still have a few more aces up his sleeve
Stretch Posted July 19, 2013 Share What you mean? he cannot believe that people will stoop so low as to say he "bonked" on purpose to divert attention away from doping. Now Go back a few pages and look at that pic with the kid that almost is being taken out by Froomes wheel and look at the hurt on his face...in fact look at the hurt on all three of their faces Wyatt Earp

rouxtjie Posted July 19, 2013 Share GO QUINTANAHow small is he, he doesn't even have to bend down to kiss the podium girls, just turns left and right. He is hungry for a stage win I think... The Ghost and Steven Knoetze (sk27)

jcza Posted July 19, 2013 Share Wonder what's going through Cadel's mind? I'm sure Cadel is thinking.........please make this stop!! How old is Quintana again? He looks mid-30s. Seems like Saxo and others are racing according to Edgar method, go till you blow (and then lose time) - a team with Contador, Rodgers, Kreuzinger, Roche, Paulino etc but with very poor execution. deanbean Posted July 19, 2013 Share Super servant Porte What a mate, help your leader and buddy when he's down, could see the worry in his face.Guys, I don't buy the "Froome bonk" story for a second. It will be a sad day for cycling if I am correct. If you have to do this to gain credibility and popularity. Yesterday many people was shouting "dope" and I am pretty sure they are less verbal about it now. It may also be to mind f#%k the rivals. Watch him today, we will see.F*****d if you do, and f8888d if you don't hey bro. What an arse comment, and that's the first time I've called anyone names on the hub!!!!!Watching the highlights now. I can't believe Phil used the (much overused) "big diesel engine" in reference to Froome… Time he retired.hold your horse boerewors....he has been around the block a few times. I do agree that he won't put minutes into froome this way...but he gets a reaction, and that is what he is after...SKY was cool and calm yesterday...smart play...when bertie made a move. He might still have a few more aces up his sleeveSure he'll have some plan for the other mountain stages. I've gained respect for his "never say die attitude" over this tour (although I'll never respect him for his doping, and I dislike the "EL Pistolero" salutes). What a tour it has been, all the smaller teams have lit it up with their attacks, and attempts to break the monotony for a win. It has been more like the Giro in attitude this year, absolutely riveting.Long may it continue. Andrew Steer and rouxtjie
