Interesting... the curve looks like one would expect... then sundenly the 100k shoots up...

Not surprising at all.

All the options have a very narrow R10 k range and then you have one option that is open ended. Almost all successful middle aged professionals, executive mangers and business owners fall in this category.

I work in recruitment - finance more specifically and the figures stated are not unreal.

Graduates entering the market (finance) earn between 15-25k per month and I know of many many people between 30-35 earning well over a bar excluding bonus (which btw can be as much as their entire annual package)

amazing how much you get paid for pushing pieces of paper around, when the people who do the real (and important) work, like engineers, nurses, teachers, public sector doctors, etc get peanuts.

...Between government and kids, the best lube would be any lube please.

Add the beers you owe me to that list ;)

The upside is that I'll give you one to take home with you and see if that lubes you up well enough, no confirmation or detail required thereof...

Those people doing "real work" wouldn't have a company to work for if it wasn't for those "pushing paper around". I'm not saying it is right that they get paid so much less but it doesn't make what the pen pushers do less important or any easier for that matter.

I agree, also, for those that are self employed, all the risk lies with the "paper pusher".

I have personal sureties coming out of my tail for the business and you always get paid last as the boss. During slow times, I have lost sleep over staff salaries and have paid Christmas bonuses out of my own pocket before. In my case, if I'm not working, the company doesn't earn, so holidays have to be carefully planned and I've never been on holiday without having to work almost daily for even a small time.

Would the 112 high-rollers earning 50k upwards please stop being so snoep and donate a few bucks to FIRE for her trip abroad. Thanks lads and ladettes, she and we appreciate it!

How much I get paid? Did you read correctly - I work for a recruitment company.

Why are you acting like a tool - a guy in finance could spend as many years studying as a doctor and there work as important. You clearly do not know much about finance if you think it is pushing papers around ... dont be bitter if you didnt make the grade of a bus science or actuarial qualification

i used you as a generic term, not referring to you personally. and an accountant's job as important as an ER doctor? if you say so.

oh and relax, it's almost friday.
