Since I sorted out uncapped fiber,dumped DSTV and got Metflix and Amazon Prime been catching up on some awesome series. DSTV really kept me in the dark ages

Watching the Mentalist from season 1. Never watched the entire series back in the day. I do know who Red John is though.

Life was one of my favourite crime shows, great cast, good writing, lots of humour - so of course it got cancelled after 2 seasons.

Watching Fauda and Bordertown on Netflix.

 

IMO. Bordertown is actually better with the original Finnish soundtrack and English subtitles. You lose a bit of nuance with the generic yank dubbing.

 

With Fauda we are only 3 episodes in but it doesn't look like a binary pro Israel anti Islam or visa versa series.

I was looking at Fauda and it looked like it would be very good let me know if it's worth it.

 

Yeah I struggle with dubbing it's why I couldn't get past episode one of Money Heist .
