Hi Guys/Girls.

I have this hole in my brake hose. Can I just put masking tape around it and then bleed it?

Thanks for the help!

Yes of course you can.

But if you actually want your brakes to work then no.

I was thinking the same thing, was wishful that I could do it D.I.Y.

Nope, if they rely on pressure, you're gonna need to replace them.

Will probably boil down to that. Will take it to Linden cycles tomorrow and see what we can sort out. I thought "Ah I'll just bleed my brake" and then I found that hole. Cant figure out how it happened but my rear brake was slowly losing pressure, guess I found the problem....

Thanks Meezo!! They are for Formula K18's. I'm not sure if it will fit.

Nice clean cut...so don't think it was from a fall?

Pretty sure that duct tape will work better than masking tape

I suspect sabotage! Some Stravasshole on the spruit must have done it while I was stretching...

Wait. Sorry had a dumbass moment. A hydraulic hose is a hydraulic hose is a hydraulic hose. You will need the connector for the K18's or Formula's any LBS should have. Tell me length and pm address will post to you
