Hahahaha. I love it when Marquez says in the presser on Thursdays that he needs to think about the championship and if he must he'll take 3rd. Then on Sunday the red mist descends and it's go for glory. Can't fault him for giving it his all, all the time.

Was a good race (and by race I mean final two laps), the rest was pretty boring. Everyone was there or there-abouts, until the two protagonists decided that it's time to actually start racing/

I well and truly hope that Yamaha have found a fix, but the skeptic in me struggles to believe that it's either a) fixed, or b) got fixed so quickly, if all we've been hearing all season is how terrible the bike is. Motegi should be interesting. Lots of hard acceleration and hard braking zones, which seems to be the root issue of the Blue bikes.

Another awesome advert for MotoGP racing ....

Binder was superb , but maybe following team orders a little ??

MM93 showed how he learns from each race , and carries that forward to when he needs it .

Very clever to do a "Dovi "on Dovi .

Certainly Dovi wasn't expecting that cutback from MM93 .

Nice to see the 2 Yam's back ..... hope they carry the momentum forward for the rest of the season .

  • 2 weeks later...

What a race too!!!! He had proper pace, turned the screw till Dovi cracked, again. That Duke is properly quick too

See Marquez dislocated  his shoulder in his post win celebrations too.......

Well done MM93, Love him or hate him he can ride.

Now if he could just win on another manufacture, that would put him amongst the legends.

I have to disagree ...

He won on a 2 stroke (125) Moto2 and obviously MotoGP .

You implying that Mick Doohan is not a legend as he only won on Big Red !!

MM is the best of his generation ..... No  Doubt !!!

Ja, because Scott Redding was a little bit exuberant in his congratulations. Must be something to do with the hair...

I personally don't rate Doohan amongst the legend's. Thats just me. In fact he could possibly be the reason I don't like Honda at all. All he had to do was beat his 2 team mate's.

Dovi should have put on the medium front, same as MM...

The Dukes need the soft's to work though, converse being the Honda needs a harder compound. Nothing Dovi could have done, the better rider won.

This sucks..

I agree but rules are rules. They do need a window though, some sort of grace as air and track temp can affect tyre pressure. I mean 0.02 will make no difference, he won fair and square.

I hate it when people have to "what about"when somebody does well.

Mick would probably have won many more titles, possibly with another manufacturer was it not for injuries cutting his career short. Suppose when Lorenzo wins on a Honda he will then be your new bench mark, have to win on 3 manufacturers to be relevant.

Its this same strategy when people say Marc can't be great because he never won on a 500cc. SO WHAT!!! And to then say he wouldn't be able to ride a 500cc because of the electronics is also BS, looking at how he rides he would rock a 500 no problem!!!

So we should discount Rossi's first 2 4T titles, only needed to beat his teammate in those and half the field were crappy 2T's still.............
