Re venue speculation, it won't be the likes of Nasrec, FNB etc. Look at all Century Properties early or upcoming developments and pick one...

Seeding must have been tough this year, Malcom Lange seeded in group H.

Lange, Malcolm 2:30:56 339/20506 M 305/15518 H 1/546

Malcolm was riding with his son from H, once he heard Bonitas had the win he put the hammer down to get to the finish, he dropped me on heart break hill, was nice to ride with him for a little while

Andrew Mclean started in D. He came past me on the hill off the M1 pushing some bloke. Apparently he was riding with a Toyota Exec/Manager?

Dr Johan van Zyl. CEO of Toyota SA.

So how about the Blue Valley Equestrian Estate where the Africa Cycle Fair was?

Supercars dont count. Even on that front all the other manufacturers blow toyota out the water. For example VW has Lambo, Porsche, Bugatti in the stable. Toyota has a single Lexus LFA.

Every other toyota makes me fall asleep and drool on myself (except maybe the 86, but its still a donkey compared to competitors from other stables)

..How about the what-looked-like-a-hay-bale wrapped in bright vinyl covering a probably huge pothole.

I would have thought JMPD or a marshall would be in attendance..............In the TdF a Gendarme with a whistle....wonder if anyone hit it? Hope not.

Yip, normally the route/road surface is the safest ever, this year however not so. I think JRA make it a bigger challenge every year............In a few years the MTB race will be along the roads....

I must admit, I was jealous of some of the dual sus mtb's at some points.

It will be somewhere not far off the current route I guess.

Maybe we'll start on the runway at Lanseria . . .

I know in the old days it was at Kyalami. Can it not handle the race?
