Then I am only FAT....

And, someone who reads this forum told me that number 108 was "tuned" in the starting chute already for dropping his gel packet.

And he responded by saying " don't they clean up here after the race"

Yes it is hearsay, but I believe the person.

Edit: spelling :-(

Face it...#108 sounds like a proper tjop!!!

specialized attitude and all.... :whistling:

Heehee

Nice one!

Same thing happened with me a couple of months ago! Only, there was no robot...just a slow turn off (this youngish guy chucked an empty 1L water bottle out of the slowly moving car....my moer stripped immediately and I raced to cut him off...turns out his gf was driving - she got such a shock...she just bursted out into tears and shook like a leaf (thought she was being hi-jacked!). I made them turn around and go pick it up...told them to go litter in their own neighbourhood (CY registration...)

I almost felt embarrassed for my lunatic actions, but my moer really stripped and this time I could actually act on the situation...

My family just sat wide-eyed in my bakkie while I ranted at this car

About 88 per cent of litterers will correct their behaviour if requested. Only 12 per cent will be rude, aggressive or hostile, which is part of their anti-social makeup and requires deeper counseling to cure.

Support a world where "clean" is the new "dirty".

I have the name of 108, but can not post it as I did not SEE him litter, only swear at me.

Dont have the other name....

By "name" them I meant "show their pic" should I change the tread title?

I think next time, stay put in your car, and think about your family.

People get shot, believing its a highjack in progress, with something like that.

But lets take this a little further to illustrate the point, Lets hypothetically say I suspect my wife of having an affair, I even suspect I know who the fellow is, so one day I follow him around and take a photo of him getting out of his car in the Sandton City parking lot.

Then I rush home and post the picture on The Hub or any public platform and point my finger saying "This sod is on his way to meeting my wife for an illicit affair ."

Genuine question.

I respect your point of view but would it change anything in your hypothetical situation if instead of you suspecting he was having an affair with the Mrs, you saw him banging away and when confronting him about it, he tells you to mind your own business ?

I ask because I saw someone litter and spoke to him. No contrition from him, just aggressive bluster. The only reason I did not look up his photo was that I can't remember his number

If I could recall his number confidently, would I have been wrong to publish in the light of my first hand evidence ?

No Eddy, its the same thing, you may not publish or make defamatory posts on social media. The laws regarding social media are extensive and quickly, cheaply and easily enforced due to the ever increasing scourge of harassment.

Good on you. Wish I had the guts to do that, had the misfortune of driving alongside a car full of boxes that actually threw a bag of empty beer bottles out of the window of a moving car. I had to swerve to avoid it going through my windscreen and it smashed against my wheel. When I got up alongside and gave them the good ol dafuq - they were super aggressive towards me, i'm sure they'd have no qualms pushing me off the road - I left it. :(

Really pisses me off when people callously throw litter out

And with my luck my Friend, I will confront one of the 12%.

He will be big, agro and full of brannewyn.

In South Africa those percentages work the other way around.
