That looked like a rowwe high-speed crash.

Must've hit a cateye or something...

Or just cornered badly... then again, I was flying down there after repairing a team member's puncture...

How is everyone planning to warm up for Hels? We can warm up but then we just sit in our chute for 30min and cool down? Is it worth trying to warm up?

Question asked and answered.

Try being late and use the run from car to chute to warm up (like I often have to ... ).

Not sure whether I should be jumping for joy or crying in a corner...

For some reason I am in start group D, whereas in all the other events I have done since September I have been in group O (which is nice  for me its not too fast and not too slow right now). This will be my first Burger, I have been cycling for less than a year and have been out of commission for two weeks - I'm worried that I'm gonna get dropped out of D right off the bat!

That's what one half of my brain is saying. The other half is flooded with excitement! So keen to just ride, and go balls to the wall as usual because its so much fun.

Just sharing my thoughts here to get rid of some anxiousness. See you guys on the day!

Yeah, worthit.

I park about 10 kms away and spin to the chute.

Hey guys

I am starting in R  - Not seeded

I really hope to find a nice group going down helz

Aiming for a 3h15 time.

Climbed this old helz section on a burger test ride in 12:56: http://www.strava.com/segments/630623

Helz decent to R45 in 12:30: http://www.strava.com/segments/2724187

You guys think I will be able to find a nice group?

Any one here think they might catch me going down helz?

No way!!! You look way too fast! I think you will have to pull a group behind you! Watch out or you'll catch the pro's!
