Jaco-fiets Posted November 21, 2013 Share Got my seeding mail now and when I read what the % means for my seeding I almost pissed myself laughing when I saw% = top seeded male riders. Come on! I would rather want to start in A or B and be in the mix (or not) than hanging at the back of the % group praying for the race to finish Edited November 21, 2013 by Jaco-fiets Mackem

DJR Posted November 21, 2013 Share D for death! Which is exactly how I feel at the moment and also my seeding. I'm going to get someone to take a picture of me because it has been a long time since I was up there. Perhaps the 1 Tonner made the difference? Anyone who survived it got moved to the front? mikkelz

Frog Posted November 21, 2013 Share Hi all, Also looking for 2 entries for Die Burger road race. Still looking ... anyone feeling like a long lie-in instead of rushing up Helshoogte? Feeling a cold coming on perhaps? Let me know!
G Man Posted November 21, 2013 Share After 2 years off the bike and just completing the One Tonner, got bumped upto D from a Q PPA seeding. What sort of time would you expect the average time for the D group to be? Just want to see if I'll be able to hang onto the big group or slip back to Q? After riding with my children the last 2 years, to get them safely going on the road, I've also made a big jump up to D. So, we're in D same boat I would guess 3h30, maybe even a little under if it is a good day, but it is very much a thumb suck. If the wind howls like on the 1-Tonner, then I really don't want to even guess a time. Hopefully some stats juckies will comment soon.

SeaBee Posted November 22, 2013 Share I made an interesting jump down to D. Maybe they woke up and realised just how crappy I am! Must admit, this got me somewhat motivated for the ride... BTW - Don't know the historical times of D - but if I ride a 3:30 (without mechanicals) I'll retire from road cycling. (Was about to say shoot myself, but that's a bit harsh on a lovely Friday morning!)
