jissslaaaiik.. cringing when I look at these pictures because I've had a similar crash on concrete before- 8 stitches to the chinny chin chin.

Ok so I managed to ride it out but still a balls up.

Nice one!

 

Was that your first go at it? I hope you gave it another go after your close-call!

 

After that 'anthill' mysteriously appeared there, we decided to test it, and nearly all of us landed to flat on our first go. Speed on that one is deceiving.

What do you mean you managed to "ride it out"? Did you over jump? It look like you landed on the down..

 

I am going to go give it a try today with a HT. It might feel totally different than with the FS.

Looks like he over-rotated a bit and landed front first instead of both wheels at the same time - on a rigid, that's a bit less, erm, forgiving...

Gooo sloooower than you think with your HT!

 

You were comfortably over (even a tad long) on your AM bike. :thumbup:

 

The HT will require a lot less energy to jump.
